In the vast expanse of eternity, Randy shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Randy farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Griffey and Jeanette Dotson Griffey; and his sister Diane Griffey. He is survived by: his children, Randy Griffey Jr. (Cindy) and Candi Diane Griffey; his brothers, Terry Griffey, Joey Griffey and Danny Griffey; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Griffey and Charlie Schlomer.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at the Griffey Family Cemetery.
