He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bartley Adkins; his children, Teresa Senez (Ron), Richard Adkins and Missy Branham (Larry); his brothers, Donald Gene Adkins and Andy Adkins; his grandchildren, Joshua Charles, Keith Maynard, Kaitlyn Branham and Rachel Adkins; his great grandchildren, Cara, Blake and Lucas; and his sons, Billy Compton, Costello Newsome and Chris Bartley.
