It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Noma Thacker in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jessie Elzie Thacker; her children, Reaford Syck and Elzie Lavone Thacker; and her siblings, Vernon Conway, Ray Conway, Ivan Conway, Zadie Coleman and Bertha Conway.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Conway, Avery Thacker, Jessie Thacker, Myrtle Keens (Syck), Lola Miller (Thacker), Kathy Thacker, Bertha Thacker and Darcus Thacker; and her sister Maggie Thacker. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
