He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Layne and Madaline Preece Layne; his wife Angela Layne; and his sister Brenda Coleman. He is survived by: his son Tyler Layne (Liz); his siblings, Gary Layne (Sue) of Phelps, Keith "Jap" Layne (Della) of Phelps, Sandy Adkins (Bill) and Paulette Flagg of Church Hill, TN.; and his close friend Billy Ray Hager (Hass Wolford). He is also survived by 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter.
