It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Dixon of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 10, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Dixon; her parents, Edith Bailey and Noah Bailey; her siblings, Troy Bailey, Coy Bailey, Ralph Bailey, Ida "Teddy" Eversole and Joyce Minor; and her daughter Barbara Ellen Dixon.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wanda Sue Bailey, Helen Bailey of Cumberland, KY and Herbert Bailey (Melinda); her daughters, Judy Lewis of Cumberland, KY, Bobbie Jo Sowards of Cranks, KY, April Sullivan (Marlie) of Harlan, KY and Tammy White (David) of Pikeville, KY; her grandchildren, Ashley Clark (Jason), Orrin Shell (Julianna), Beronica Short (Tyler), Whitney Stewart (Jeff), Matthew Shell, Marlie "Junior" Sullivan (Ashton), Sara Hurt (Zack) and Sophia White; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jaylyn, Cassie, Donovan, Daniel, Justin, Chloe, Alice Faye, Liam, Logan, Taylor Rae, Liliana, McKenzie, Anton, Mariah, Allen, Joey and Carter; and her great great grandchild Acelynn Raelee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
