She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lopez and Anna Curry Lopez; her husband Herman Clarence Smith; her granddaughter Chasity Anderson; and her siblings, James Lopez, Dixie Ann Earnest and Betty Mattox.
She is survived by: her sons, James Michael Smith (Lisa) of McAndrews, Rick D. Smith (Melinda) of Hatfield and Carl H. Smith (Alicia) of Inez, Kentucky; her siblings, John Lopez (Janetta) of Austin and Billie Deskins of Phoenix, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Taylor Smith (Leslie), Brandon Smith, Eric Smith, Logan Smith, Maranda Blevins (Scott), Elizabeth Smith and Virginia Anderson; and her great grandchildren, Aurora D. Smith, Amaia B. Smith and Kennedy Blevins.
