With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanie Campbell-Smith of Pikeville, Kentucky, born in Hazard, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2024 at the age of 45. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Campbell and Brenda Campbell; and her brother Jimmy Edward Campbell. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Smith, Jr. of Pikeville, KY.; her stepsons, Chase Smith of Pikeville, KY and Tyler Smith of Hyden, KY.; her daughter Chelsey Napier of Jackson, KY.; her sister Brittany Campbell of Williamstown, KY.; her nieces, McKenzie Partin and Cember Campbell; and her great-niece Neviah Stamper. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Deaton Funeral Home (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel (15 Deaton Ln, Jackson, KY 41339).
