He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Hunt and Garnell Norman Hunt; his grandson James Austin Daughtery; and his siblings, Russell Paul Hunt, Naomi Hunt and Cheryl Hunt.
He is survived by: his children, Troy Hunt (Renee) of Elkhorn City, KY and Shannon Gillespie (Brian Ross) of Pikeville, KY; his grandchildren, Kiara Bailey (Colby Muncy), Emily Morris (Dylan), Shelby Hunt and Gabriella Hunt; his great grandchildren, Jazlynn Morris, Waylon Daughtery and Weston Morris; his sisters, Phoebe Griffith of Elkhorn City, KY and Loretta Price of Regina, KY; and his former wife Brenda Griggs. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
