She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Justice and Nora Justice; and her brother Eugene Justice. She is survived by: her sister Irene Bartley; her nieces and nephews, Ann DeRossett, Susan Caldwell, Linda Wegener, Rachel Horn Branham, Darrell Bartley, Phillip Bartley, Gene Justice, Paul Justice and Dallas Justice; her stepdaughter Sherry Horn Purcell; her caregivers, Becky Slone, Brenda Commodore, Robin Brown, Jackie Ross, Tammy Lynch and Margie Gray; and also Jamie Breeding. She is also survived by many close friends, former students, and former co-workers.
She was a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma, Rotary Foundation, and Ky Retired Teachers Association, American Association of University Women, School Nutrition Association, and Pike County Retired Teachers Association.
