He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Lee and Cleo Ray Burgess; and his son Edward Lee Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Hinkle Burgess; his son William Burgess (Heather) of Betsy Layne; his sisters, Susan Adkins of Pikeville, Judith Goble (Gordon) of Pikeville, Verniece Overstreet (Eddie) of Pikeville, Lola Weddington (D. R.) of Pikeville, Georgene Robertson (Jackie) of Pikeville, Sherlene Burgess of Pikeville and Zella Mae Mullins of Richmond, KY.; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Micha, Jonah, Witten and Sebastian. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
