She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Henderson Coleman and Zettie Blackburn Coleman; and her brothers, Roy Coleman and Clifford Coleman. She is survived by: her husband Ira Tibbs; her son-in-law John Paul Hunt II; her children, Wayne Tibbs (Teresa) of Carlisle, KY and Linda Hunt; her grandchildren, Shad Tibbs (Kristin) of Jena, Cody Tibbs of Carlisle, KY and Sarah Coleman Hunt (Kelly Starnes) of Louisville, KY.; her great grandchildren, Collin Tibbs (Kelsey) of Louisiana, Thomas Tibbs of Louisiana, Carter Tibbs (Katy) of Louisiana, Ella Tibbs of Louisiana, Mary Charlotte Starnes and John Coleman Starnes of Louisville; and her great great grandchildren, Kayci and Colter Tibbs of Louisiana.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
