He was predeceased by: his parents, Elder Jink and Eva Justus Baker; his wife Mary "Athleen" Mullins Baker; his siblings, Polly, Elizabeth, Jenny, Sara, Mary, Claire, Laura, Florence, Herman, James, Dale and Wayne; and his daughter-in-law Wanda Blankenship Baker.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald "Dude" Baker of Grundy and Doug Baker (Judy) of Grundy; his grandchildren, Sara Fuller (Howie) of Whitewood and Jonathan Baker (Holly) of Elizabethton; his stepgrandson Timmy Mullins (Christina) of Grundy; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Hayden Fuller and Eli Baker; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayleigh and Jase Mullins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mary Lou Old Regular Baptist Church.
