He is survived by: his wife Delilia Martin Mitchell; his daughters, Jessica Damron (Joey) of Morehead and Bethany Mitchell of Martin, Kentucky.; his siblings, Larry Mitchell (Brenda) of Pikeville, Kathy Keene (Elvis) of Pikeville, Sandy Corbin (John) of Pikeville, Debra Thomas (Jim) of Pikeville, Mary Harris (Danny) of Pikeville, Stephanie Little (Shannon) of Morehead, Brenda Profitt of Eolia and Nikki Mitchell of Ewing; his grandchildren, Garrett Damron of Lexington, Zoey Damron of Mount Sterling, Aaron Gevedon of Lexington, Victoria Stanley of Pikeville and Kyler Lee Henson of Auxier; and his great grandchildren, Bryson, Zander and Julian. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
