With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Lucille Belcher (Pikeville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvis Ford and Rosie Branham Ford; her spouse Gareth Blake Belcher; and her daughter Julia Belcher. She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Welch (Mike); her siblings, Robert Ford and Barbara Barker; her grandchildren, Matthew Wike, Andrew Wike, Debra Wike, Michael, Katie and Kendra Welch; and her great grandchildren, Landon Wike of Lauren Wike, T. J, Lynn Adkins and Margarette Adkins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
