It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Erma Chapman (Pikeville, Kentucky), who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Erma leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octavia Chapman (Varney) and Jeff Chapman; and her sister Rachael Chapman. She is survived by: her sisters, Emma Hunt (Darrell) of South Carolina and Sue Hensley of Huntington; her great-nephew Oliver; and her close friends, Demkia Hess and Perry Tackett.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (4902 Zebulon Hwy, Raccoon, KY 41501). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
