It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elberta Adkins (Pikeville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Horne and Gladys Horne; her husband Brad Adkins; her daughter Diana Smith; her grandson Troy Neil Evans; and her siblings, John, Burley, Richard Horne and Maggie Duffey.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Elkins; her sisters, Margaret Williams, Octavia Cimpfer and Louise Faith; her grandchildren, Natesha Evans, Tabitha Smith and LeeAnna Elkins; and her great grandchildren, Jaden, Jordan Sawyers, Kassie Evans, Braxton Stewart, Layne Brizendine and Alyssa Brizendine.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
