With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Tackett of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 3, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sid Tackett and Laura Damron Tackett; his wife Tammy Gail Tackett; and his siblings, Jerry, Johnny, Estil, Jake, Lucille, Sarah and Tap.

He is survived by: his children, Jason Tackett of Pikeville, Dougie Tackett of Dover Delaware and Jessica Tackett of Pikeville, Three; his brothers, Kenny Tackett of Penny, Benny Tackett of Wheelwright and Jackie Tackett of Virgie; and his grandchildren, Emily Finch and Reese Hammond.
