He was predeceased by: his parents, Colombus Carroll and Madeline Adkins Carroll; and his siblings, Linda Thacker, Bernice Keene, Francis Carroll and Arthur Carroll.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carroll; and his children, Sandy Morgan (Randy), Candy Varney (Steve), Jowanda Chapman (Jamie) and Lloyd Carroll (Angela). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
