Charles Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Asbury and Georgia Helton Asbury; his wife Carolyn Smith Asbury; his brothers, Tony Asbury Jr. and Larry Ray Asbury; and his sister-in-law Becky Asbury.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Brian Asbury (Misty Dawn) of Pikeville and Rebecca Jane Abner (Hancel) of Winchester; his brothers, David Asbury of Marion and Jeff Asbury of Hazard, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Justin Ira Abner, Zoie Nicole Abner, Christopher Shawn Ramey, Charles Brayden Asbury, Holly Marie Ramey and Jeremy Damian Gibson; and his great grandchildren, Ian Kaleb Rainey, Serenity Jade Gibson and Archer Ira Abner.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made in Charles' memory to the Main Street Church of Christ, P.O. Box 2747, Pikeville, Kentucky 41502.
