It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Marie Rowe (Pikeville, Kentucky), who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richard Alford and Lydia Nowling Alford; her spouse Charlie Reed Rowe; and her brothers, Edgar Lee Alford and Adrian Alford.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Reed Rowe Jr., Philip Reed Rowe (Elizabeth) and Betty Marie Prichard (Ronald); her sisters, Frances Clary, Jeanette Gavins, Adelaide Lehmkuhle (Bill), Margaret Hancock (Reno), Sarah Henderson (Allen) and Shirley Holley; her grandchildren, Megan Roberts, Steven Roberts (Victoria), Alex Rowe and Kara Rowe; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Roberts, Axel Roberts and Isabella Roberts.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A burial was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rowe Family Cemetery.
