He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Joseph and Ollie Keesee Talyor; his wife Nellie Sesco Taylor; and his siblings, Claude Vernon Taylor, Glenn Taylor, Pierce Taylor, Mae Robinette and Cora Sesco.
He is survived by: his children, Deloris Blackburn of Gulnare, Lester Taylor of Gulnare, Nelson Taylor (Sharon Kay) of Gulnare and Norman Taylor (Tammy) of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Amanda Bailey (John), Grayson Ray Taylor, Madison Brooke Taylor, Shane Sword and Shannon Sword; and his great grandchildren, Zachary Sword, Alex Sword, Olivia Sword, Elijah Sword and Emily Sword.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Son Funeral Home (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmel Ray Taylor Cemetery (703 Hambley Blvd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
