We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2021, at the age of 87, Calista M. Murphy (Pikeville, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emzy Williamson and Alice Williamson; her husband John Murphy; her grandson Ray Mullins; and her siblings, Beatrice Johnson, Curtis, Jim, Dike, Virgil, Tommy and Gary Joe Williamson.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Murphy (Mary Lou) of Virgie Ky, Michael Murphy (Gloria) of Virgie, Joyce Damron (Jackie) of Church Hill, TN, Brenda Sue Chapman (Rusty) of Church Hill, TN and Barbara Skeens (Ronnie) of Hazard Ky; her siblings, Ora Robinette of Belfry Ky and Wendell Williamson of Columbus, OH.; her grandchildren, Lora Hall, Kathy Chapman Allen, Fredrick Murphy, Michael Murphy, Jared Hamilton, Dustin Hamilton and Elizabeth Chapman; her great grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, Kelsie, Katie, Johnathon, Cassandra, Carry, Ezra, Cambria, Caiden, Levi and Lennon; her stepgrandchildren, Keely and Rider; and her close friends, John, Calista and Cam Colley.
