It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bud David Kendrick (Pikeville, Kentucky), who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bud David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bud David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Kendrick and Linda Lawson; and his brother Basil Dewayne Kendrick. He is survived by: his brothers, Brent Kendrick (Randi) and Cecil Lawson; his nieces, Jordun Anderson (Brenton), Lindsey Porter (Tori), Myleigh Hall, Khloe Kendrick and Kylie Kendrick; and his nephew Brayden Hall.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home (2931 US-23, Pikeville, KY 41501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
