He is survived by: his nephews, Virgil Allen Thacker (Renee) and Timothy Thacker (Britney); his niece Chasity Thacker (Thomas); his cousins, Patsy Coleman and Amy Smith; and his close friends, Elizabeth Vantuyl and Allen Stevens.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4907 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
