It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Epperson Carty of Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Rucker Epperson and Helen Johnson Epperson Bond; her children, Charles Calloway Carty, Martha Carty Tichenor and Beth McFadden (Don C.) of Winchester; her grandchildren, Susan Keffer (Michael) of Winchester, Laura McFadden (Sam) of Chicago, IL., Sarah McFadden Barrett of Winchester, Callie Carty of Lexington and Sam Tichenor of Lexington; her great grandchildren, Mary Beth Keffer and Benjamin Calvin Barrett; and her friends, Randy Roberts, Linda Titus, Dema Ann Runyon, Judy Matney, Jim, Valerie Clark, Dorothy Justice, Frankie, Allyson Justice, Keith, Sharon Blackburn and Wanda Justice.
