She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Atkinson and Eula Blanche Hanschumacher Atkinson; her husband Charles Mathews; and her brother Paul Atkinson. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Charles Mathews (Cheryl), Betsy Jean Morris (John) and Bonita Sue Robinson (David); and her sister Anna Ruth Jonas. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
