Alice Thacker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Thacker of Pikeville, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Thacker and Minnie Collins Thacker; her husband James Reford Thacker; her granddaughter Shaina Whitt; and her siblings, Shirley Haynie, Kathy Thacker, Greenie Thacker, Charles Gary Thacker, Larry Dean Thacker and Bobby Thacker.
She is survived by: her children, Tina Whitt, Nelletta McClanahan (Nick), Angela Renee Thacker and Jeremiah Thacker (Crystal); her grandchildren, Sydney Adkins, Emma Whitt, Nichole Wessels of Billy, Carroll, Tim Carroll, Hope Carroll, Dalton Rose, Abby Rose, Jasmine Robinson, Gabi McClanahan, Kimber McClanahan, Dylan Keene and Tyler Keene; and her siblings, Patricia Margie Bevins, Brenda Adkins, Roy Thacker and Otis Thacker Jr.. She is also survived by Fourteen Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home (1118 S Mayo Trail, Pikeville, KY 41501). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Annie E. Young Cemetery (4907 Chloe Rd, Pikeville, KY 41501).
