He was predeceased by: his brother Jimmy; his parents, John Parks and Irene Parks; and his son-in-law Walter Hunter III. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Barton Parks; his children, Vicki Posey (Dan), Jeffery Parks (Lee), Donna Hunter and Dana Bowdoin (Mark); his grandchildren, Dr. Andrew Parks (Kristin), Rebecca Hubbard (John), Kelsey Parker (Will), Kyle Hunter, Rachel Shipman (Doug) and Sarah Parks; his siblings, Norma and Jerry (Alana); his son Jeff Parks; his grandson Andrew Parks; and his sons-in-law, Dan Posey and Mark Bowdoin.
