He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Harper Abshire (Bobbie); his grandparents, Gail, Dottie Harper of Oroville, Washington, Eugene and Anna Lou Abshire of Phyllis; his uncle Ronne Abshire; and his aunt Kathleen Abshire Adkins.
He is survived by: his father William O. Abshire; his son Caleb Charles of Pikeville; his siblings, Elizabeth Robyn Abshire of Phyllis, James Cleve Abshire (Trista) of Greasy Creek, Wesley Shawn Lawson of Tennessee and Dustin Layne-Lawson of Kimper; and his stepmother Garlene Layne-Abshire.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made at Community Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
