It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don Chapman (Phyllis, Kentucky), who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burlin Chapman and Dollie Honaker Chapman; his wife Minnie Mae Anderson Chapman; and his siblings, Ben, Leeman, Rush, Jeff, Wade Chapman, Nancy Susie Anderson and Lillie Hensley.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Chapman (Beverly) and Brenda Hunt (Andy); his sisters, Ida Beam and Vada Smith; his grandchildren, Amy Hughes (Justin), Crystal Varney (Gordon) and Donella Stanley (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Kobe, Brandon Hughes, Larah Stanley, Jordon and Addyson Varney.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM and on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Upper Grapevine Church of Christ (19267 Grapevine Rd, Phyllis, KY 41554). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
