He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Artemus and Mary Ruth Barlow Braden; his daughter Stephanie Howard; and his brothers, Kenneth, Jerry and Gary Braden.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Hale Braden; his grandchildren, Katelyn Howard and Cortney Braden; and his siblings, Alva Braden (Donna), Ruth Ann Hendricks (Rod) and Cathy Heath (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
