He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman I. Haynes and Mary Ruth Montgomery Haynes; and his brother Bernard Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Haynes; his son Jerome Paul Haynes; his granddaughter Kelsey Marie Haynes; and his siblings, Jimmy Haynes, Robert Haynes, Edward Haynes, Frankie Haynes, Helen Ward and Regina Mayfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
