She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewell Merritt and Mary Rose Cain Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Jones Sr.; her children, Joseph Jones Jr. (Kim) and Ashley Hagan (Steve); her grandchildren, Jennifer Tate (Joey), Skylar Clark, Laney Edge, Jarron Edge, Kirsten Hagan (Matt), Courtney Hagan (Dayton), Eric Hill (Tracy), Chance Colvin (Courtney) and Starrlina Rose (Sky); her great grandchildren, Azayla Hagan, Zaiden Montgomery, Ezekiel Montgomery, Tynlee Main, Bravery Colvin and Baby Tate; and her siblings, Donna Kuder (Kim), Paula Moore (Tommy), Kevin Merriett and Annie Hunnicutt (Charles). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Hampton Baptist Church (2949 S Hampton Rd, Owensboro, KY 42303).
