He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warner Thomson and Bessie McAtee Thomson; his wife Doris Thomson; his sister Jean Thomson; his former wife Pat Durbin; his children, Jody Thomson of Owensboro, Anna Gordon (Jeff) of Nashville, Kaye Hurley (Kevin) of Louisville, Chuckie Thomson of Louisville, Jennifer Thomson (David) of Louisville and James Thomson of Philpot; his stepchildren, Keisha Chism (Fred) and Bryan Hamilton (Tammy); and his siblings, Sheila Thomson, Francis Thomson (Doloris) of Owensboro, Steve Thomson (Donna) of Owensboro, Richard Thomson (Belinda) of Owensboro and Larry Thomson of Los Angeles. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
