John L. Yates Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2020, at the age of 75, John L. Yates of Philpot, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Mary L. Willinghurst Yates. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia A. Yates; his sons, James Shelburn Yates of Philpot, Christopher David Yates of Morganfield and Daniel Todd Yates of Philpot; his grandchildren, Kaley Nicole, Taylor Cole, Jacob Todd, Garrett and Stratton Yates; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Natalie, Molly Ann, Carson Thrasher and Ryder Lee Hatton; and his sister Mary Jo Yates of Philpot.
