He was predeceased by: his son Ernie Vanover; and his brother Glen Vanover. He is survived by: his wife Michele Meyer Vanover; his children, Derek Vanover (Dominique), James Vanover (Rebecca), Amanda Bickett (Justin), Laura Onstott (Joshua) and Emily Horn (Travis); his parents, John William Vanover II and Mae Louise Kelly Vanover; his grandchildren, Kevin, Kacie, Mary Beth, Eva Marie, Lyvienne, Jude, Molly, Weston, Jimmie, Maceson, Roland and Micah; and his siblings, John Vanover III (Pam), Carl Vanover (Debbie), Clif Vanover (Connie), Kelly Vanover (Pat), Angie Brown and Lori Segar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
