With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard R. Davis of Philpot, Kentucky, born in Drakesboro, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Othor Randall and Lucy May Davis; his daughter Kathy Morgan; his siblings, Margie Frost, Ida Long, Joyce Adams, Willowdean Rouse, Bobby Jo Russ and James Carter; and his stepfather Joseph "Job" Russ.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Davis; his sons, Gary Davis (Jan) and Rick Davis (Tammy); and his brother John W. "J. W.". He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
