She was predeceased by: her parents, Verda Grigsby and Lucy Duff Grigsby; her siblings, Glenn Grigsby, Jessie Grigsby, Denver Grigsby, Dixie Westerfield and Johnny Grigsby; her grandson Casey Mercer; and her son-in-law Larry Mercer.
She is survived by: her husband Everett Massie; her children, Debby Mercer, Steve Massie (Penny), Sharon Boarman (Leon), Karen Shelton (Roddie), Pam Evans (Onis) and Tom Massie; and her sister Jeanette Lambrich (Larry). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
