With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Lester of Phelps, Kentucky, born in Stopover, Kentucky, who passed away on May 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paris Lester and Rittie "Blankenship" Lester; his wife Hazel "Pugh" Lester; his siblings, Lamuel Lester and Opal Ferrell; and his great grandchild Tori Carman.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Dale Lester (Lisa) of West Chester, OH and Debra K. Kominek (Chuck) of Galion, OH; and his sisters, Rosa Lee Horsley of Jacksonville, FL and Opal Faye Stevenson (Tim). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
