She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nelson Wolford and Zettie Norman Wolford; her husband Denton Hamilton; her children, Aletha Fields (Aaron) of Phelps, Kentucky., Allen of Phelps, Kentucky. and Roy Hamilton of Phelps, Kentucky.; her granddaughters, LaTosha Ratliff (Hamilton) and Katie O'connor (Hamilton); her sisters, Ethel, Ruth, Loretta, Helen and Juanita; her pet Lucy; her sister Myrtle Combs; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Fields, Ralph and James Hamilton; her grandchildren, Aaron Matthew Fields (Andrea), Lyndsey LeShea Fields, Katie O'Connor (Tyler) and Shyanna Fields (Steven); and her great grandchildren, Blake Hager, Ian Hager, Maggie Fields, Greyson Fields, Colton Ratliff, Maicy Ratliff, Asher O'Connor, Sage O'Connor and Salem O'Connor.
