He is survived by: his wife Della "Adkins" Layne; his children, Leon Keith Layne Jr. (Crystal) and Keithella "Layne" Matney (Steve) of Phelps, KY; his siblings, Gary Layne (Sue) of Phelps, James Layne (Joyce) of Surgeonsville, TN, Sandy Adkins (Bill), Paulette Flagg of Church Hill, TN, Gail Diamond of Cynthiana and Fayetta Fletcher of Kimper; and his grandchildren, Keisha "Matney" Hatfield, Colby Keith Layne, Keirah Faith Layne and Jessica LaShae Rowe.
