He was predeceased by: his parents, Fon McCoy Sr. and Cora Mae "Sullivan" McCoy; and his siblings, Verlin McCoy Sr., Sherman McCoy Sr., Leona Slone, Pearlene Taylor and Flora Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Faye "Adkins" McCoy of Phelps, KY; his daughter Marlene Salvino (Joe) of Phelps, KY; and his brothers, Reverend Hobert McCoy (Libby) and Fon Jr. McCoy (Sandra) of Phelps, KY.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Jones & West Funeral Home (37035 KY-194, Phelps, KY 41553). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
