He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Ery, Fayetta Blankenship and Juanita Johnson; his children, Jamie Lynn Combs (Leroy) and James Donald Daugherty; his siblings, Lonnie Daugherty Jr. (Betty), Glennis Fadley, Bonnie Dotson (Warren Gene) and Sharlene Fields (Cookie); his grandchildren, James Austin Daugherty, Jaci Lynn Combs, Layken McKenna Bevins, Aliyah Daugherty, Ian Kade Bevins and Kannon James Bevins; his great grandchild Waylon James Daugherty; and his close friends, Jerry Fields, Jerry Layne and Donna "Daugherty" Casey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
