It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaino Stiltner (Phelps, Kentucky), who passed away on December 23, 2020, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gaino Stiltner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Stiltner and Daphene Wolford Stiltner; and his great-nephew Alex Dotson. He is survived by: his daughter Gaina Devin Compton (Kyle); his grandchildren, Steven Todd Layne and Kaylynn Ivy Layne; his siblings, Cheryl Smith (Donald) of Owingsville, Kentucky, Connie Deel (Jeff) of Frederickstown, Ohio, Shelia Hurley (Jerry) of Majestic, Kentucky, Rhonda Gayle Freeman (Jeff) of Phelps, Kentucky and Bill Stiltner of Frenchburg, Kentucky.; his friend Bill McKinney; his siblings-in-law, Glenetta Dotson (Elmer), David Cecil Wallace and Deanna Wallace; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Dotson (Tisha), Carrie Ball, Kristen Cantrell (Chad), Sommer Helton (Andrew), Josh Hurley (Bethanie), Jerrica Hurley and Dustin Mounts.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a fitting tribute to honor Gaino's memory will be by doing something special for a child in the community this holiday season and to keep that as a tradition each year going forward.
