She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Mullins and Virgie Mullins (Murphy); her husband George Compton; her children, Marshall Compton and Melissa Kay Compton; and her siblings, Elbert Mullins Jr., Ruby Bledsoe and Irene Ratliff.
She is survived by: her brother Danny Mullins (Wilma) of Southgate, MI; her grandchildren, Bernie and Emily; and her friends, Barbara Coleman, Joyce Campbell and Connie Mayhorn.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Darlene's memory may be made directly to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
