With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Artis Edward Gooslin of Phelps, Kentucky, who passed away on December 10, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Artis Gooslin and Virginia "Fields" Cox; his wife Earnestine "Smith" Gooslin; his son Artis "Buddy" Gooslin; his brother Randall Gooslin; and his granddaughters, Ashely and Amber Ameling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Bingham (Dion) of New Vienna, Jamie Gooslin of Fremont and Jodi Gladieux of Freeport, Ohio; his close friend Rose Lester of Phelps, KY; his siblings, Ronnie Gooslin of Fremont, Mike Gooslin (Priscilla) of Hardy, KY, Teresa Layne of Phelps, KY and Lois "Bim" Cox of Phelps, KY; his grandchildren, Cody Bingham, Javen Gooslin, Cheyann Gooslin, Naytasha Gooslin and Tesla Lozier; and his great grandchildren, Blakelynn Bingham and Rory Bingham.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gooslin Bottom Pentecostal Church (41690 State Highway 194 East, Phelps). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Gooslin Bottom Church (41690 State Highway 194 East, Phelps).
