With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Altson Wolford of Phelps, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Wolford and Ruth Preece (Hall); and his brother Herbert Wolford. He is survived by: his wife Tensie Layne of Phelps, KY; his daughter Dorine King (Michael) of Stone, KY; his siblings, Brian Preece (Patty) and Pamela Wolford of Paintsville, KY; his grandchildren, Austin King and Kiana King of Stone, KY; and his great grandchild Killian King of Stone, KY..
