He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hitzfield; his sons, Tim Hitzfield (Lori), Dan Hitzfield (Mary) and Joe Hitzfield (Tina); his grandchildren, Jacob Hitzfield (Courtney Appel), Lauren Broering (Jacob), Hope Hitzfield and Parker Hitzfield; and his great grandchild Jace Hitzfield.
