It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Lorenzo Hankla of Perryville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Scott and Virginia Pettus Hankla; and his siblings, Martha Hankla McGee and David Bitzer. He is survived by: his wife Faye Gossett; his daughters, Renée Hankla of Salinas, CA and Heather Lea of Nashville, TN; his stepchildren, Carol Raskin (David) of Salvisa and Kerry Robison (Marshele) of Greenville; his grandchildren, William Hankla, Marina Bernstein, Matthew, Kola Raskin and Jes Robison; and his brother Scott Hankla (Mary Pat) of Frankfort.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Perryville Community Church (206 E 2nd St, Perryville, KY 40468). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Hillcrest Cemetery (416 W 2nd St, Perryville, KY 40468).
