She was predeceased by: her parents, George Shannon and Annie Lindsey Shannon. She is survived by: her husband Charles McCowan; her children, Tina McCowan (Randy Hollon), Brian Bowmer (Christina) and Vickie Bowmer (Kridel); her grandchildren, Shannon Crowe, Chris, Mattison, Brooklyn Vandiver, Jadden Bowmer, Emilee Kitchen and Annie Hastings; and her brother David Rakes.
